The song is the clock. When it ends, so does your shift — there is no losing, only how much you shipped and how much mess you left. Fill the MESS bar and the health inspector stops the line for four seconds while the music keeps playing.

Keys 1–5 act on the station above them; clicking a station works too. Each machine keeps its own clock and none of them wait for you. The meter under each bay is how close it is to spoiling.
