how to play

Klotski (横刀立马) is a classic Chinese sliding block puzzle. The goal is to slide the large 2×2 block (曹操) to the exit at the bottom center.

Click or tap a block to pick it, then use the arrow keys or swipe to slide it one space. Tab picks the next block. Blocks only slide, so they cannot jump over other blocks.

The gold block is 曹操 (Cao Cao). The jade blocks are his generals. The cyan blocks are soldiers.

Your score is your move count: fewer moves is better!
